Meeting History

October 30, 2025 — Three proposals presented for board consideration (no selection recorded):

Pizzo submitted three separate proposals dated September 4, 2025, as an alternative to Hey & Associates for the 2026–2028 natural areas management contract:

ProposalBasinAreaScope3-Year Total
#9952HOA “Other” basin (Hemlock/Snowberry)~2.09 acresStewardship (8 invoices/yr) + site prep $2,720 + prescribed burn $4,360 (fall 2026)$37,980
#9957South basin cost-share (Shingle Oak/Atlantic)~5.04 acresStewardship (8 invoices/yr) + site prep $3,060 + prescribed burn $4,360 (fall 2026); optional native seeding $3,865 declined$38,320
#9962North basin cost-share (North Ave/Atlantic)~3.54 acresTree/brush hand clearing $10,698 (Jan–Mar 2026 only) OR FECON $4,380; invasive control $390/yr; site prep $5,015; prescribed burn $5,560; herbaceous clearing $1,290; native seeding $11,765 (3.6 ac); erosion control blanket $4,358; stewardship $1,115/yr (2027–2028)$64,026.75

Comparison to Hey & Associates (same period): Hey total for all three basins = $37,800. Pizzo total ≈ $140,327. Pizzo’s broader North basin scope (tree clearing, seeding, erosion blanket) accounts for most of the difference. No vendor decision recorded in the October 2025 board packet.

Note: Proposal #9957 (South basin) shows “Included Accepted” notations next to stewardship and site preparation line items — it is unclear from the document whether these items were already contracted or if this is template formatting.
